Why TOEFL?
The TOEFL iBT test measures your capacity to utilize and comprehend English at the college level. What’s more, it assesses how well you join your listening, reading, writing and speaking abilities to perform scholarly assignments. The TOEFL iBT test is scored on a scale of 0 to 120 points. Each of the four sections (Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing) gets a scaled score from 0 to 30. The scaled scores from the four segments are included to decide the absolute score.The test cannot be taken more than once a week.

Test Structure


1. Reading (60-80 minutes)

Questions: 36-56 questions
Content: 3-4 passages from academic texts; you must answer questions about them.
 

2.Listening (60-90 minutes)

Questions: 34-51 questions
Content: 4-6 lectures (some with classroom discussion) and 2-3 conversations, each followed by questions.
 

3. Speaking (20 minutes)

Tasks: 6 tasks
Content: 2 independent tasks (express an opinion on a familiar topic) and 4 integrated tasks (speak based on what is read and heard).
 

4. Writing (50 minutes)

Tasks: 2 tasks
Content: 1 integrated task (write based on what is read and heard) and 1 independent task (support an opinion in writing).

 

 

 

What does the score mean ?


The full length of TOEFL iBT test if four hour long which is followed by following structure.
